Important Guest Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr. The opportunity of inviting my favorite person in a time travel machine to my classroom is something I would never even in my wildest dreams ever miss out on and for a major NASCAR fan like myself, the choice is naturally a very easy one for me to make of Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr., the greatest stock car racing driver and American iconic legend to have graced the NASCAR circuits. Since fast cars and fast races have always fascinated me, the aggressive driving style Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr. remains imprinted in the minds and memories of all his fans. In fact his legend continues to live posthumously and his fan-following keeps increasing through the recordings of his races and the Earnhardt legacy continues to live at present through his son Ralph Dale Earnhard Jr. who has stepped into the shoes of his father and is presently trying to emulate his race track feats. The Earnhardt racing torch was originally lit by Ralph Dale Earnhardts father who in his own right was one of the best drivers on short tracks and continues to shine through his son whose preferred car number is 8. While the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr.


had made his preferred car number 3 the most famous one on the NASCAR tracks. Being influenced in the car racing sport since his childhood by the successes that were achieved by his father, Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr. was discouraged by him to take up the profession of car racing. However, Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr. was so sure that he would be successful at racing cars that he gave up school to actively race cars. However, it was only after his father died from a heart attack that Ralph Dale Earnhardt was able to make a name for himself on the racing track. Dale Earnhardt began his NASCAR carreer in 1975 and his first race was at the Charlotte Motor Speedway where he finished 22nd.


However, in the next four years Earnhardt competed in 8 races and was beginning to make a name for himself as a star of the future.
